#1
The setup package must be copied to a local directory / drive (not an USB stick, not a network share), because the setup package must be available immediately after the reboot for execution in case of an necessary reboot, provoked by the windows installer. Otherwise some error messages like 'The setup couldn't be found' (or similar) could be reported.

#2
If you want to use TAPI 120 in UC Smart mode, you have to select the operation mode 'OpenScape Business TAPI UC Smart' within the TAPI120 configuration UI. This operation mode will be supported forOpenScape Business X1 and X3, X5 or X8 each w/o Booster-Card.

#3
If you have a OpenScape Buisiness X3, X5 or X8 w/ Booster-Card then you can only use TAPI 120 in CSTA mode. To use the CSTA mode, you have to select the operation mode 'OpenScape Business TAPI CSTA' within the TAPI120 configuration UI.

#4
If you want to use/configure the TAPI 120 in UC Smart mode you have to be aware about the following prerequisites:
- a OpenScape Business Booster card must not be connected even if you do not use that card
- a OpenScape Business S ("LX") does not support TAPI 120 in UC Smart at all
- UC Smart application selection must be configured at the system via WBM
- the subscriber/station which should use TAPI 120 in UC Smart mode, needs only a 'TAPI 120/170' license assigned to that station (a 'myPortal Smart' license is not necessary)
- the subscriber/station which should use TAPI 120 in UC Smart mode, needs to be configured as/with a UC Smart user
- the UC Smart user has to change its standard password first, before TAPI 120 in UC Smart mode can be used and will work
- the UC Smart user credentials have to be configured within the TAPI 120 configuration UI
- in maximum 30 UC Smart mode TAPI sessions are allowed in parallel; in case if more UC Smart user/station with TAPI licenses are configured, the 31st login will be rejected by the system.

#5
The supported phones / devices and the supported features per device depend on the CSTA/WSI capabilities of the connected OpenScape Business. Details are described within the sales information.

#6
The maximum number of TAPI 120users / maximum number of parallel TAPI 120 connections depend on the OpenScape Business system operation mode and model. You find more information about this limitations in the corresponding sales information.

#7
In case of using an antivirus-software with realtime check onto the customer PC, the OSBiz TAPI trace directory should be excluded from the realtime check per configuration - especially when OSBiz TAPI trace is enabled. Otherwise it could come to performance problems / signalling delay's inside the TAPI application.
