The setup package must be copied to a local directory / drive (not an USB stick, not a network share), because the setup package must be available immediately after the reboot for execution in case of an necessary reboot, provoked by the windows installer. Otherwise some error messages like 'The setup couldn't be found' (or similar) could be reported.

TAPI170 will only be supported on OpenScape Business X3, X5 or X8 w/ Booster-Card or with Booster Server and on OpenScape Business S via CSTA.

The supported phones / devices and the supported features per device depend on the CSTA capabilities of the connected OpenScape Business. Details are described within the sales information.

The maximum number of TAPI 120users / maximum number of parallel TAPI 170 connections depend on the OpenScape Business system operation mode and model. You find more information about this limitations in the corresponding sales information.

In case of using an antivirus-software with realtime check onto the customer Server-PC, the OSBiz TAPI trace directory should be excluded from the realtime check per configuration - especially when OSBiz TAPI trace is enabled. Otherwise it could come to performance problems / signalling delay's inside the TAPI application.
